Avoriaz

The village of Avoriaz is located at an altitude of 1800 m on the cliffs above Morzine. It is 30 minutes beyond Mozine by bus, or it is accessible by the Prodains cable car.

Therefore, our standard shared service to Avoriaz passes at the foot of the Prodains cable car. We provide a morning service from Accueil d'Avoriaz to the airport and an evening service from the airport to Accueil d'Avoriaz (outside the opening hours of the Prodains cable car.

For private bookings to and from Avoriaz, we can only pick up and drop off at the Avoriaz Visitor Center as Avoriaz is a pedestrian resort.

Avoriaz Shared Services

Alpytransfers offers a shared service to and from Avoriaz. 90% of this service comes and goes from the bottom of the Prodains cable car.

Prodains Express cable car timetable for winter 2022/2023:

· Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

· Friday and Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

· Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Outside of these times, we organize an early morning departure directly from Accueil d'Avoriaz and a late evening arrival directly at Accueil d'Avoriaz. Please make a reservation request for Avoriaz to find out possible pick-up times, as this depends on your flight time and day of travel regarding the buses we have available.

The Welcome Center is located within the resort and a further 30 minutes from Morzine. This is where you will be dropped off and picked up as Avoriaz is a car-free resort.

 Arrivals from Geneva

For your transfer from Geneva Airport, you will be assigned to the first transfer one hour after your flight arrives to allow you to go through passport control and collect your luggage. When booking your transfer, you will receive an ESTIMATED time of your transfer. This time will be confirmed to you the day before the trip.

Are you traveling with a standard ticket?

If you miss your transfer, you can be assigned to the next available transfer by paying the "Rescue Fee" of 25 CHF.

 Departures from Morzine

For your pickup in Avoriaz/Prodain, you will receive an ESTIMATED pickup time at the time of booking based on the flight time you indicate. This will be confirmed the morning before travel and may be adjusted. We pick up from multiple locations for each transfer, so your pickup time will be adjusted depending on where you are in the pickup order. We aim to get you to the airport 2 hours before your flight.

Private transfers

The private transfer to Avoriaz is always dropped off and picked up at the Avoriaz Welcome Center as Avoriaz is a car-free resort. For your arrival in Geneva, we will pick you up approximately one hour after your arrival to allow you to go through passport control and collect your luggage. For transfers from Avoriaz we will pick you up approximately 4.5 hours before your flight with the aim of arriving at the airport 2 hours before your flight. As a private guest, you can adjust this time as you wish, and we will do our best to accommodate you based on our schedule for that day.
